How about that global warming!

A group of scientists and curious tourists went to Antartica to see the melting of the ice first hand due to global warming and to see how few polar bears and penguins were left. Instead their ship got stuck because of the thickness of the ice. They also found plenty of polar bears and penguins roaming around. After being stuck for over a week, the scientists and tourists had to be rescued by a helicopter, which brought them to another ship to take them to a way to go home. Instead this ship is now stuck too in the thick ice up to the present moment. In the meantime our country is having record cold temperatures all over the map with minus signs in front of many numbers, temperatures that are breaking records in many places. Not a word has been said anywhere about the famous global warming occurring in the newspapers or on TV and the EPA is of course continuing their regulations set into place because of global warming. Edison's bulbs are a thing of the past as of this month and all the people working in that industry are frozen out. How about that global warming!

Nothing seems to help

The liberal Jews seem to be steadfastly holding on to their democratic "beliefs", no matter what the realities are. How can people with any gray matter in their brains, not see the facts? I was stunned recently after a "relative" declared out of the blue: I would never vote for a Republican. When I asked her why she said: "because I don't believe in trickle down economy, because I don't believe in not allowing abortions, because I don't believe in not caring for the poor and I don't like the war on women".
What has to happen for them to see the light? I shudder to think about that.

What are we to believe?

It was said by our leader, that as far as the new health care law goes, you can keep your health insurance you have, if you like it and you can keep your doctor if you like him. He said that about 29 times, to be exact, over the 4 years in office. Well, that did not turn out to be quite true, as by now over 5 million people lost their health insurance, because it did not conform with what the new health care law mandates. At the same time it seems to be very difficult to sign up for a new plan, because the healthcare.gov site is not quite ready. And for those people, who were able to get on the site, they discovered that what is available, is more expensive and/or the co-pay is much larger, than what it had been previously. To top it off, the site is totally unsecured, and strangers seem to have access to the most personal matters of the suscribers.
This after the "Fast and Furious" debacle, our leader did not know about, the Benghazi scandal, he was uninformed about, the IRS targetting of conservatives, he was ignorant of, and the NSA snooping, he was unaware of.
So now what are we going to believe, when we hear that this "with-it" leader was able to persuade the Iranian Mulahs to become a peaceful nation, continuing to produce atomic power for peaceful purposes, while we give them tons of money, and have persuaded the West to discontinue the economic sanctions?

Something finally hit home

There have been no repercussions for the "Fast and Furious" debacle, where thousands of Mexicans were killed and some US border agents, by guns the administration sold to the Mexicans. No one got punished for it. The Benghazi scandal, where 4 good Americans were killed, while the administration did nothing, has been shoved under the rug. The IRS scandal, where the administration did nothing to punish the deliberate targeting of Tea Party members and religious groups seeking tax-exempt status, passed unnoticed by the main-stream media. The NSA scandal, where a reporter and his family were harassed for doing his job, was dismissed as a mere trifle. The fact that we are all spied upon, our phone calls monitored and e-mails read, that is just to keep us safe. What difference does it all make, the Liberals couldn't care less. When the Republican House tried to fund the government, except for that unaffordable, formidably bad healthcare law, the Republicans were called terrorists and other unsavory names, and the administration and liberal Senate refused to negotiate in any way.
But now, when 5 million people, Liberals included, simply lost their health insurance. because of the "affordable health care law"and there is no way out of this disaster at the moment, and the democratic Congressmen and women up for reelection are getting nervous, something finally hit home and a tempest is erupting in the tea pot.

The Chosen people

It is said that we are the chosen people. I have often wondered what that meant. We are certainly not chosen  because we are the smartest people. We definitely are not, although this idea has created  jealousy, yet it is totally unsubstantiated and has given us great grief. We are certainly not chosen because we are privileged people, because that too is not true. We are certainly not chosen because we are in any way better than other people, because we decidedly are not. I have come to the conclusion that we are chosen for only one thing and that is to follow our religion as much as we possibly can, not because it is the one true religion, but because that is what we were ordered to do. We were chosen to follow 613 commandments as much as we possibly can, and the summary of these are: "Do not do unto others, what you would not have them do unto you" and "be as good and gentle a person as you can possibly be". We were chosen to do just that and by it to set an example to the world for goodness and kindness and fairness and ethics, in other words to follow and share the"Ten Commandments".

What happened to us now?

I am broken-hearted over the state of our country more than ever. Imagine having a soldier coming home in a casket, after having given his all, his life, and the administration is refusing to pay for his interment. Imagine the heroes of WWII not allowed to see their Memorial. Imagine that we cannot go see the Statue of Liberty, Mount Rushmore, the Grand Canyon, the Memorial in Europe of those troups that gave their all when they stormed overseas. These places are all roped off, yet the administration is paying people to guard them and it is paying to rope them off with iron gates. In addition, it has been decreed that the chaplains in the army are not allowed to perform services for the soldiers.  And why did this all happen?
The House of Representatives has managed to stand fast so far to have the government fully paid except for Obamacare, that unaffordable terrible law, that would put an agent of the IRS in between the doctor and his patient, us citizens. Since the House offer has not been accepted by the democratic Senate, we are now in a government shut-down. Although the House then agreed to give other offers, such as having at least everyone treated equally under the law, where big corporations, several unions and all of Congress is exempt from Obamacare, but all the rest of us are not, this too has not been accepted by the Senate and the Senate and the president refuse to even negotiate. So we are all punished in a most evil way: the dead soldier's families, and all the rest of us for having to witness this and the other punishments, as listed above. Hurrah for the democrats, they are really winning this battle and showing their true colors. They don't care for even the best of us, they only care about power, power and more power!

How liberals see republicans

It is an amazing feat to follow the logic of how liberals view Republicans. As soon as something bad happens in this country, it immediately is the Republicans' fault. Our government owes 17 trillion Dollars of borrowed money; that is President Bush's fault after over 4 years of the present president's reign! A terrible flood happens in Colorado, it is the Republicans fault, because they do not believe in global warming. There is a shooting at the Navy Yard in DC and 12 fatalities occur, it is the Republicans fault, because they agreed to approve the so-called sequester, which was the president's own idea, and he is the one who decides where to take the money from. The health care law is instituted, and signed by the president, without a single Republican present. It is a train wreck, according to the Democrat who championed it, 65% of the citizens (Democrats and Republicans) disapprove of it, and the money to institute it, is not available. Yet it's the Republicans fault, because they say they dislike it.  You can't make this stuff up.
